A year ago I gave my first digital camera, a Olympus Camedia, 4-megapixil, model to Aleks (7) and Gabriela (5). I figured that it might quickly end up broken in the toy box. As with all new things, there was an initial flurry of interest by both children, but Gabriela's interest was sustained. Last week we went on our first photo-shoot together. The sheep were in the shed having their siesta and I figured that we would head over and take some portraits. By the time we had our gear together the sheep were back in the field and most of them had their rumps to the sun :( — A few of the more inquisitive approached. One wondered if it could get a nibble off my Nikkon.
Gabriela gets some interesting shots and this shot of 'Ma' is an example. I hope to have more opportunities to shoot with Gabriela.
